Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Calhoun County, Texas. Day to day you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Overtime paid at a premium rate.
