Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Henderson County, Kentucky. On a typical shift you will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
