Abattoir worker wanted in Escambia County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Escambia County, Alabama. The role involves sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
