Urgent requirement: semi-automatic welder (Ohio)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Your main tasks: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing 4+ years on the tools preferred.
