Immediate opening: we are hiring an escalator technician in West Carroll Parish, Louisiana. The role involves carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; run load and overload tests with test weights; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
