Urgent requirement: foundry labourer (New Mexico)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Part-time with flexible hours.
