Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. Day to day you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Confident with standard crane hand signals At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
