Toolroom milling operator • Yamhill County, Oregon

We are recruiting: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Yamhill County, Oregon. You will work in a toolroom. On a typical shift you will keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
