Skimming plasterer • Cumberland County, Maine

Immediate opening: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Cumberland County, Maine. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. The role involves skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • CSCS card or willing to obtain one Performance bonus on top of base pay.
