Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Montgomery County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks On the job you will handle: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits.
