Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Day-to-day duties: • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off Full-time, day shift.
