Immediate opening: we are hiring an air conditioning service engineer in Page County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds On a typical shift you will fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter; braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines; wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge; mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them.
