We are recruiting: vehicle spray painter (South Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vehicle spray painter in Fairfield County, South Carolina. You will be based in a car refinishing workshop. You should have: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand Day to day you will apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
