Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in Oyo West, Oyo State. Your main tasks: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Full-time, day shift. ₦210,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
