Gas pipeline fitter • Meriwether County, Georgia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Meriwether County, Georgia. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. On the job you will handle: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Driving licence for travel between sites • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
