Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Grayson County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) The role involves set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $9,750 per project, based on your experience.
