Lift maintenance fitter — Catahoula Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
