Fire and safety officer — Ado

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Ado, Benue State. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
