Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in Halifax County, Virginia. You will work at a textile finishing unit. The role involves: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
