Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium technician in Morris County, New Jersey. The job is at a doors and windows manufacturing unit. You should have: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles Day to day you will check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing; fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware; install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads; apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
