Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Allegany County, New York. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site On a typical shift you will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels.
