Stamping press operator • Perkins County, Nebraska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Perkins County, Nebraska. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes 6+ years on the tools preferred.
