Electrical technician • Aleutians East Borough, Alaska

We are recruiting: we are hiring an electrical technician in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a residential housing project. Your main tasks: • Measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands • Wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards • Dress and terminate wiring inside control panels • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Normal colour vision for cable identification At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
