Single needle operator • Rowan County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Rowan County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Your main tasks: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
