GTAW welder — Jefferson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Jefferson County, Florida. You will be based on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Your main tasks: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
