Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Christian County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy lift company. You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring On the job you will handle: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
