Concrete finisher — Juniata County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Juniata County, Pennsylvania. On a typical shift you will mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Performance bonus on top of base pay.
