On the job you will handle: • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals Requirements: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads 5+ years on the tools preferred.
