Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Saint James Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Saint James Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. You will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
