Immediate opening: rough terrain crane operator (Georgia)

Join our team: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Hancock County, Georgia. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. The role involves: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Rotating shifts.
