Now hiring: heavy equipment operator (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in King George County, Virginia. You will work in an open-cast quarry. The role involves: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains Ideal candidate: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
