Quality assurance assistant • Porter County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Porter County, Indiana. The job is at a pharmaceutical packaging facility. Requirements: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Day to day you will carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch.
