Immediate opening: we are hiring an insulation worker in Dudley, England. Requirements: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane You will carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations.
