Cnc lathe setter — Glasgow City

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Glasgow City, Scotland. Day-to-day duties: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. £2,250 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
