Join our team: tig welder (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Cherokee County, Kansas. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
