Vacancy available: we are hiring a halal butcher in Otero County, New Mexico. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Season and marinate meat on request Six days a week, one day off. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
