Immediate opening: steel fixing chargehand (Cross River State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Bekwarra, Cross River State. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day to day you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder.
