Gas metal arc welder • Miller County, Arkansas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Miller County, Arkansas. You will be based at an automobile body shop. On a typical shift you will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
