Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Tattnall County, Georgia. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
