Head butcher wanted in Jo Daviess County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. You will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; season and marinate meat on request; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
