Join our team: paint booth operator (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Currituck County, North Carolina. You will be based on an industrial coating line. On a typical shift you will hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat. What we are looking for: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
