Great opportunity: mechanical press operator (North Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Burke County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Day to day you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
