Ideal candidate: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage Day to day you will straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer.
