We are recruiting: carpenter (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a carpenter in Shawnee County, Kansas. The job is at a shopfitting company. The role involves: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions You should have: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
