Now hiring: brick and block layer (Georgia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Terrell County, Georgia. You will be based on a new-build development. You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks You will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
