Tyre fitter wanted in Des Moines County

Join our team: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Des Moines County, Iowa. You will be based in a fast-fit workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench What we are looking for: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Punctual and willing to work weekends 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
