Tyre fitter — Isle of Wight

Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Isle of Wight, England. Requirements: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer The role involves: • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
