Commercial refrigeration engineer wanted in Halifax County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Halifax County, Virginia. You will work at a busy refrigeration workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter You should have: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
