Safety officer wanted in Clark County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Clark County, Nevada. You will work in a chemical processing unit. Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites You will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
