Furnace operator wanted in Delaware County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furnace operator in Delaware County, Ohio. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. On the job you will handle: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
